Do you ever wonder what people think about you? Do you wonder what first comes to mind when they hear your name? Do they smile at the thought of your name? Or does your name appearing on their phone bring joy to their day?
What do people think of when they think about you?
Are you the type that can make someone laugh, even when their skies are dark? Or are you the first one they think of when they need a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on? Are you the one that would stand next to them in a fight to the death? Or are one who can pick up the pieces and dry their tears? Are you soft or strong? Are you the talker or the listener? Or are you a little bit of each?
There are people who don’t worry about what others think of them. They play by their own rules, unconcerned with how it might affect others. They put themselves first. They live with no idea of how to put others first. And then are the people who live their life always thinking about others. They are the people that spend their time worrying more about those around them instead of themselves. The type of person I strive to be. The type of people that I hope each of you is lucky enough to be and know.
Thank you for all the wonderful people in my life. Thank you for surrounding me with so many kind, loving, caring and faithful people. Help me to live a life that would honor you. Help me to live a more Christ-like life.
